About me

About me

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a  BSc (Hons) degree in Internet & Business Technologies.   During my time at university, I developed an interest in Big Data analytics and, taught myself how to use SAP software.  I am an ambitious and results driven individual with strong relationship building skills and a proven record in directing diverse  projects  to deliver and achieve conforming business programmes.  I have extensive experience in Data Management, Business Analysis and significant knowledge of Agile (Scrum & Kanban). An executive team  leader who aims to utilise 10 years of employment and numerous freelance projects  and self-taught  experience to drive efficiency and profit for a forward-thinking business. I have obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics at Manchester Metropolitan University. My dissertation research topic was “Cyber Security: Data Governance and Security in Cloud computing environments in organisations in the United Kingdom”. I have a keen interest in Data loss prevention (DLP), Project delivery life cycle and Cyber Psychology.

I am deeply interested in social justice and, currently, I have a social enterprise idea. I have been through a very traumatic period where I was vulnerable, struggling and needed help.  I would  wake up each day feeling  ashamed but would put my mask on and pretend that everything was fine. Whilst every day I showed the world a confident, happy woman,  the real me was broken.   With a bowed head and lowered eyes, my shoulders drooped, and I cried myself to sleep each night.

When I look back at those five traumatic years, I realise that, although that period of time in my life was about surviving, I was forced to endure reading gaslighted emails and letters in a disinformation campaign from employees and internal solicitor of Stockport Council.  A disclosure from Greater Manchester Police Counter Terrorism in 2019, shed light on Stockport Council’s Channel Panel Prevent  tenacity. The outcome of the Counter Terrorism investigation report January 2018 The council based their removal of PM from the site around this incident (a beheading video), there is no further evidence of her involvement with/ attraction to or indeed interest in terrorism or being drawn to any ideology it is felt this fall short of the necessary criteria for referral. No information would indicate that PM has ever used or threatened violence to support a theological/ ideological or indeed political outcome, PM appears to be an intelligent Individual who seems to seek lawful retribution for her grievances (Civil Courts/ Police)”.  Stockport Council failed to disclose documents, they left me to suffer and to endure mental torture for over four years. However, according to the  subject access request received from Stockport Council on 7 January 2020 and, according to the documentation Stockport Council employees including internal solicitor Mr Sean Reynolds (Former Inhouse solicitor), these people  communicated with  each other and Counter Terrorism Police, third parties with impunity, sharing inaccurate information without my consent.

The GMP requested  evidence  of Stockport Council’s  letter with an “allegations management form” which included sensitive personal information. Internal emails from Stockport council stated, “the council has no evidence that suggests PM represents an immediate risk to  the safety of herself and others”.

Participation in Channel is voluntary and confidential and is not a criminal sanction. It is, in my respectful view, entirely regrettable that individuals within the Council, who confess to having no medical training, persistently shared untrue information with third parties with impunity and, without my consent in bad faith.

My reputation has been significantly harmed in this regard and, whilst of course I recognise the genuine duty to disclose concerns under Section 26 CTSA, these circumstances did not, legitimately, fall into the relevant categories as proven by Counter Terrorism.

The most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do was to  leave behind the nights of terror and fear in order to rise and bring forward the gifts that my ancestors gave to me. I am the dream and the hope of individuals  who have suffered emotional and psychological damage as a result of their experiences, which can affect their ability to work and move on.

I always look at it as the one event that has had the biggest positive impact in my life so far. Without suffering from Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), I wouldn’t be as self-assured and happy as I am today as I sought help from clinical psychologists . I would never have started writing again, which has led me down an incredible path where I have  started setting up IlegallyAfford, for which I have submitted a social enterprise application. I am also currently writing a book on my experience with the Employment Tribunal and, my dream is to create a documentary.

My Motto:

Perseverance. Never give up. Be Resilient.

Born and Raised in Kenya. I was named after my grandmother who often advised “When the going gets tough, one has to become resilient like a dry stick”. I believe that it is each person’s fundamental right not to be subjected to bullying and harassment and have to endure aggressive communication from their powerful oppressors against their will.

Football

I am an Arsenal Fan. I am open minded; I respect each football club and their managers, players and fans as without them, the game would lack excitement. I stay up late to watch Match of the Day on BBC and, I  also watch live games on Sky and BT Sport.

Successful and inspiring people I would like to meet

Ms Oprah Winfrey

Just when I was about to give up on my dreams in Kenya, frustrated and disappointed with myself, I started watching the Oprah Winfrey show.  Oprah not only inspired me but also gave me the confidence to follow my dreams. As I watched the Oprah Winfrey show, I learned that all people are special and have an important role within a society.

Because of Oprah Winfrey’s inspirational shows, I gained the confidence to follow my dreams and achieve positive outcomes.  I also learned not to allow anyone to tell me I am not good enough as I pursued  my dream goals.

Mr Jose Mourinho (Football Manager)

“ You have to keep trying to improve. Even if I win a title, I am very happy”

“Strategy is needed more and more, because as the game has grown and developed, so has the technology that is used, it has changed.”

Mr Arsene Wenger (Former Arsenal FC Manager)

“I believe as well a leader can be a fantastic person who can influence other people’s lives in a positive way. Therefore, he has great responsibility”.

“When a relationship between a captain and a manager is strong. It makes the team stronger and it makes the manager stronger. When the relationship splits, the club is in trouble because there is nothing worse for the team than to get two different messages from two different leaders”.

Sir Alex Ferguson (Retired successful Manchester United Manager)

“You have to know when to go over the top to get a reaction, and when to be calm to get a reaction”.

“Sometimes you look in a field and you see a cow and you think it’s a better cow than the one you’ve got in your own field. It’s a fact. Right? And it never really works out that way.”

Venus Williams and Serena Williams (Kind hearted and remarkable women)

I am a big fan of Venus and Serena.

Venus Williams rose from a tough childhood in Compton, Los Angeles, to become a women’s tennis champion. Both sisters are winners and have inspired many people including myself. Thank you for travelling to Africa to empower young girls. I was so happy to watch on TV some of the coaching clinics both of you took part in to create awareness for tennis. I look forward to an African player in the future winning a grand slam.
